Week 2 Part A: Communication Between Business and Consumer

    Communication using the Internet is mainly written letters. Therefore, it has a slightly different character from face-to-cafe conversation. With this information, social media has changed the world; and the rapid and widespread deployment of these technologies is changing how we interact.

    Due to the online communication development, it allows more options available through communication. For instance, social media has been making us connect with people in the world much easier. It also has the retweet, like, and comment tools, allowing people with the same opinion to connect instantly. Compared to face-to-face communication, is when we can see the person's facial expressions and know it is a real person that we are talking to, it is harder to fall into the group mentality things if you are talking as one person to another person. Face-to-face communication also does not have tools like social media, and it is much harder to connect with people who have the same opinion.

    Those social media technologies are very useful in business that is required to have a lot of constant connections and communications with people in the world. The communication with a business in the past, email have reigned supreme as the workplace communications tool. Compared to social media, communication with email is not able to see each other. When you want to communicate in-person, you had to make an appointment to meet up with others. Due to social media, you can talk to others by watching them on your device's screen.

    Even if a product or business is not good, I would share both positive and improvement comments. I do not like any comments that insult someone. Since we cannot see someone, we can post anything we think without concerning the other person, and we can easily talk about delicate contents and insulting comments. If it was my own business on social media, I would accept both positive and negative comments for improvement.
